On March 17, 2022, a targeted raid led by Shri Sujan Ghosh from the Electronics Complex Police Station (EC PS) under the Bidhannagar Police Commissionerate resulted in the arrest of 9 out of 11 accused individuals involved in a cyber fraud operation. The case was registered as Case No. 61/2022, with charges under IPC sections 419/420/120B/34, highlighting offences of impersonation, cheating, and criminal conspiracy.
